On 27 November 2014 the Web-COSI project scientific coordinator, Ms Donatella Fazio, together with Ms Arianna Carciotto from Istat, Web-COSI team, held a seminar on “The R&D projects funded by the European Union.The recent experience of the Web-COSI project at the statistical and economic research frontier” at the University of Bologna, Italy.
Taking into account a multidisciplinary approach, the seminar was addressed to students belonging to different faculties, among which included Political Sciences, Development and International Cooperation, Statistics, and Communication.
The seminar dealt with a general overview on the Europe 2020 strategy and the ensuing Horizon 2020 programme, with a particular focus on the current “GDP and beyond” debate. Moreover, it outlined the Web-COSI project, its aims, its mid-term results and its next activities created lively interest in the audience of about 30 students.
